Welcome to St Mary’s Parish Paisley. Our Parish is part of the Diocese of Paisley in Scotland and is situated in the West end of Paisley. Our community consists of people of all ages and is very international in it’s make up. We share our lives and grow in faith together. We need to meet Jesus and His Mother in the Word of scripture, in the Sacraments and in our brothers and sisters walking humbly with our God. Our Mission
We set out to carry on the mission Christ gave to His disciples and through them to the whole Church when he instructed them in his great commission “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Acknowledging the variety of interests, ages and spiritual needs among parishioners, we work to enhance the unity Christ prayed for the Church “that they may be one” (John 17:21). Allowing ourselves to be guided by the Holy Spirit, we come together in one mind and soul – encouraging and renewing our parish community in faith, hope and charity – thus maintaining the dynamic cosmopolitan composition of our parish community and enabling us to reach out in love to the whole world.
