The Sunday Tearoom has operated in the parish hall for almost 25 years with a rota of parishioners serving the tea and coffee . . . with the obligatory biscuits available, of course! For children, crisps and juice are available.
Entry to the tearoom is by donation and over the years the money donated has been used to pay for parish events at Christmas, Easter, First Communion teas, etc.
In addition, the tearoom gives an opportunity to celebrate special birthdays or anniversaries with the parish community.
The monthly Draw for the 200 Club also takes place in the tearoom ensuring plenty witnesses and folk eager to collect their winnings!
After expenses, any remaining money is donated to the parish allowing the purchase of necessary items, particularly for use in the hall.
The tearoom is a welcoming place for people of all ages where parishioners can have a chat with others . . .often learning their name for the first time!
The tearoom has become a centre of social activity for parishioners and has always been well supported over the years.
Why not come along and make new friends after Mass on a Sunday morning.
You will surely come back for more!!!!
